It has been a terrible experiences with K.E.C Remodeling Services, and the owner Kareem Coleman. We were promised a finished basement at 5 weeks top. But instead, after 3 1/2 month of aggravating, stress, living in a clutter, dirty environment with a newborn, he abandoned our project at 40% completed, after taken $18K in advance on a 20K project. Work start on February 22, 2017. Work completely stop and abandoned on May 4, 2017. This is after we expressed our concern several times, including sending out certify letter to him regarding our concern around mid May. If you decided to hired this company, make sure to not give more than 1/3 total cost in advance, agree to buy the materials yourself, paid the down payment with a credit card, have a detailed contract, check on the complaints via BBB, and also the state PA Attorney General Office. I also suggest check Philadelphia Court Record on this person to see if any criminal charges or judgement again him. Definitely, I wish I had done that on my end.
