Description: Demo of 1 single family dwelling and 3 accessory buildings 2872 sq ft the above-named building or building portion as described above may be demolished subject to the following: 1. termination of utilities. all utilities to the structure(s) being demolished shall be properly caped or removed. the water line shall be terminated at the existing water meter. the sanitary sewer line shall be capped at the property line in an approved manner. electrical power shall be removed and terminated as required by the electrical supplier. the gas service shall be terminated in a manner acceptable to the gas supplier. all utility demolition shall be inspected before finial completion of the project. 2. asbestos removal the department of environmental quality (deq) requires an asbestos survey before any building may be demolished or intentionally burned. deq requirements are not enforced by nor inspected by the building department, but are acknowledged here for the convenience of the applicant. additional information is available at the deq web page under "air quality" at www.deq.state.or.us, or call the portland office at 503.229.5364, or 800.452.4011. 3. erosion controls. no construction shall commence until all required erosion controls are in place and approved by luke bushman, city of wilsonville storm water management technician at 503.570.1552. all erosion control systems shall be designed to meet all applicable requirements of the city of wilsonville ordinance 482. it is highly recommended that the contractor and the installer of the erosion control methods meet with luke before the start of the erosion control installation. 4. the following contents are from luke bushman, storm water management technician. " there are a number of approved measures for inlet protection, but the preferred application is silt sacks with biobags protecting curb inlets. " sediment fence ends must be connected by spinning 2x2 posts together at least 2 to 3 times and burying as one post. 5. tree protection in place. no demo work of any sort shall commence until all required tree protection is in place and approved by the city of wilsonville planning division. 6. this demo permit allows you to remove the buildings on the site and do various other work, but does not allow you to disturb more than 1 acre of ground without first obtaining a 1200c permit. until your 1200c permit has been reviewed by this office, all asphalt, driveways, walkways, and building slabs shall remain untouched. 7. this demo permit does not cover any grading or excavation. see appendix chapter j of the state structural specialty code for details on when an excavation and grading permit is required. 8. isolation fencing. the area of demolition shall be entirely surrounded by 6-foot portable chain-link fencing or an approved equivalent. all openings in the fencing shall be gated, with gates closed and secured except during actual working hours. 9. pedestrian or vehicle traffic adjacent to a demolition site shall be protected. where pedestrians on walkways are not in danger from demolition, the isolation fencing mentioned above may be deemed adequate walkway protection. after work covered under this work has been completed, all site access and egress shall be as regulated by the city engineering department.
