This building company is extremely negligent. We moved into some of their townhomes that are less than 3 years old about 6 months ago. We have found more problems with a basically new development than we ever could of imagined, for the most part pertaining to water. While under warranty we were told by the previous owners that they were extremely difficult to get in touch with and to actually get anything fixed, only now we have realized whatever problems they did fix during the warranty period was with a band aid instead of actually resolving the underlying issues caused. We now have water damage steming from our roof deck, in our ceilings, windows, and additional built up around our exterior doors that is causing further deterioration issues. Additionally, the showers have a horrible build up of water underneath the tiles and original caulking causing mold and breakage, that we have now fixed ourselves. These problems are communal problems, mostly from negligent waterproofing and poor caulking, however Keystone refuses to take any responsibility. We know they are communal problems as they did fix and resurface some residents balconies who pushed hard for their attention, but failed to mention the fix or take action for the other majority of the residents’ homes. We have also been told that our release for our hvac unit is about half of what it should be for the size of the units installed and now have to have new duct work put into the home because of potential carbon monoxide build up... again something designed and installed by this building company, we stumbled upon this issue by chance as the hvac was acting up due to over heating caused by minimal release. I would avoid buying anything this company has created as it will likely be a problematic and potentially dangerous living space.
