I would give negative stars if possible. My house was worse after. My island and cabinets were put in crooked. Leveling compound was not used on my floors and the new LVP that was just put in is popping in about three spots and has cracked about 4 inches. Where the floor meets the stairs the piece has already come loose. The walls built were uneven and my husband had to spend about two weeks to level the horrid work. Every single thing was done wrong. Even our bid was terrible, as the location of our HVAC and water pipes was not even looked at or considered prior to giving us the bid. Our moldings were patched back together terrible. Our backdoor was taken off and a hole was left in our home (with the a/c running) for over 60 days until we returned home and demanded they put plastic up over the hole. Plastic was put up the day before our sliding door came in. These are only a few of the items I can think of...it's way worse than this. We purchased beautiful cabinets and they used decking nails to put the trim up. I had to coach them on how to put in soft close on our pocket doors, which went crooked and would not close fully after 6 months. We had to hire someone to come in and take off the trim and it turns out they didn't even screw the top screws all the way into the door.
If it didn't cost me all of my home equity, it would almost be comical. I WOULD RUN so far away from this contractor. They seem so charming up front, but they will do terrible work, have an evil attitude, and then walk out on you when you are living in a mess. Funny enough he quit the job because of HVAC issues, which he never even assessed properly in the first place. I can't tell you how much I regret using this foolish company.
