Dream Projects Home Improvement, Inc was sub contracted by Empire Today Flooring to install Luxury Vinyl Tile on my kitchen floor. The crew were late on arrival, and unprepared to start the job with common material such as plastic covering to cover my kitchen cabinets. They had to leave and then go purchase the material and started the job much later than what was anticipated. When the job was completed, there were many issues after. There were holes in between the grout throughout the entire kitchen, some tiles were not cut correctly leaving an uneven surface, others tiles were higher than others, they left grout and glue all around the my base boards and kitchen cabinets and my kitchen floor was left with a depression in the middle floor. My kitchen floor is no longer leveled with my living room which it abuts. The grouting was sloppy on all corners of my kitchen.
The job was rushed, sloppy and unprofessional. I contacted Empire regarding the many issues and they sent out Joe Brito, who works for the Dream Projects Home Improvement to inspect the job. Needless to say he suggested that he can patch up the many issues. In fact in his argument to fix one area, which he stated in fixing that area, would cause a bubble to form on the floor- he thought this was a valid solution to the issue. His remedy to the problem was unacceptable. The work from this company was unprofessional and I will not be doing business with Empire or Dream. The quality of work was not up to industry standard.
